Book writing, Patron slinging, karaoke singing, and overall inspiration to the industry, Tipsy Texas- aka David Alan stands at the apex of education and empowerment. David is the quintessential Texan and friend of the industry. Whether it has been promoting good cocktail etiquette via his beautiful book or spreading the joy of amazing cocktail flavors via Tipsy Texas, David has helped launched an assail on cocktail culture. He has helped shape the narrative while always making time to sing a few songs in the process. This decorated road has led him to a global position with Patron Spirits and it proves to be the biggest challenge to date. What is good Tequila? How does it get here? Why should we be concerned? David creates agave awareness with the utmost diplomacy and is in a sense the "patron saint" to the industry. We talk love, singing, booze, arrogance, and old-school Austin.
